October 23-26
2025
French Lick Springs Hotel
8670 W State Rd 56
French Lick, Indiana
Cross Stitch Retreat with a little Dungeons and Dragons thrown in!
The Details
The Location
The historic French Lick Springs Hotel was established in 1845 and what is now the spa wing was built in 1901. Wanting to do more than just stitch for the weekend? The resort offers golf, bowling, hiking, horseback riding, biking, two outdoor and one indoor swimming pool, hot tub, shopping, a casino, and more! At the spa, you can relax in a private tub and soak in the Mineral waters, Pluto Water, that made the area famous in the 1800s. French Lick Springs is said to be one of the most haunted hotels in Indiana. Thomas Taggery, a former owner of the hotel who died in 1916, and an un-named bellhop have been spotted around the hotel carrying on with their business. Ask for a room on the sixth floor, if you're into that sort of thing, as that is where they seem to be the most active.
