ABOUT

I’m Penelope 3.14 Kellerman, the owner, president, manager, and currently sole employee of Dice and Needle.  My mom, Natasha, thinks that she has all those titles that I just mentioned... but everyone knows that I’m the one that’s actually in charge.

 

Mom tells me that she’s wanted to open a store for a while, so when the space came available in Dad’s building, she jumped at the chance.  She’s been cross stitching and playing boardgames since she was a kid.  I don’t know for sure how old she is, but I think that’s a really long time.  Anyway, the combination of those two activities seemed a natural choice for a retail business.

 

We have visitors sometimes who sit around the big table and stitch or play games or do something they call “Dungeons and Dragons”.  I like those times… The people give me treats!   I live here at the store in Batesville, Indiana, and Mom and Dad live somewhere else in town with a bunch of other cats.  I also have an older brother, Gus, but he’s not around much.  He goes to graduate school at Harvard.  Whatever that is.
